Natural Habitat
True to my wild.
Being authentic, kind and curious allows me to live in a fearless but graceful creative state. I live every minute of life through this filter and have tremendous gratitude to exist in this very sensitive way.
Currently, my work represents my personal philosophy about the life cycle –an extension of my spiritualism.
Heavy influences include symbolistic painter, Gustav Klimt as well as principles of the Pre-Raphaelites, Abstract Expressionism (in particular Jackson Pollack) and Jenny Saville.
Having a BFA from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania with a design major and a natural science illustration minor, I currently have 25 years experience as a professional graphic designer/illustrator in the advertising industry.
Additionally, I am following my calling and have a Life-Cycle Celebrant certification with which I have created my own practice creating and conducting celebration of life ceremonies. I am an advocate of the death positive movement which embraces the natural aspect of death and encourages discussion.
I was raised along farms, fields and woods in outside of Lititz, PA. After college graduation, I craved urban experience and lived in metro Atlanta for 9 years. Back to the country side, I now reside in a 1940-era cottage in Lancaster county.
My passion project.
I believe in a way of living that reveres sanctuary in house and garden. Being a highly discriminate hoarder of old things, my inner drive dictates that I collect. I strive for an aesthetic that inspires a timeless style full of authentic vintage glam hinting industrial influence –a little bit punk and a lot divine! And, simply, I adore the living earth by promoting the refinement of ecologically-minded living and recycling at its finest. I choose to live as green as possible –with style!
"You had the Power all along my dear."
