A Death Positive Mindset
"Birth and death are the most singular events we experience -and the contemplation of death, as of birth, should be a thing of beauty, not ignobility" - Jacob K. Javits
This outlook is what has driven Nicole from a young age to care for others near death, through death and after death. A calling that started in youth has led her to offer bedside comfort and spiritual guidance to actively dying persons and establish a practice as an independent funeral celebrant.
She is currently a student of transpersonal psychology and studies various spiritual traditions.
She calls her painting style deconstructed realism. A process of impressionistic layers suits her need to express the gritty nature of life-cycles and the divine transcendence through the death process.
